The Entrance blog - Day 1
Dear Carrots,
Let me just summarise The first Entrance day.
Day 1: Got up late (9:30) when I was meant to meet them at 10, which resulted in me being about 15 mins - 30 mins late. When I walked up to Lidcombe station, Leanne, Lucy and Alwyn were already there. Haha, they looked sorta bored too... sorry guys.
Then we packed our stuff and off we went.
Car arrangements:
Ivan's car - Ivan + Simon in the front, Leanne and I in the back.
Kenson's car - Kenson + Steven in the front, Lucy and Alwyn in the back.
About 1 and a half hours drive later, we were at the motel (Buccaneer Motel on The Entrance Road). We sorted out the rooms, and we got 2 rooms.
In the family room (2 single beds and one err, 'King double' bed): Alwyn + Ivan on the single beds, and the girls (Lucy, Leanne and I) on the 'King double'.
In the guys' room (1 single bed and 1 double/queen sized bed): Simon on the single bed and Kenson + Steven on the double/queen sized bed. ;D
After we unpacked and bummed around a bit, we went fishing. We took a ton of photos at fishing, so if you don't know the link to my photobucket, ask for it `kay?
Alwyn caught a normal small fish, and then a 'flathead'. Steven caught a 'flathead' and some other fish that he took home because it was eatable (edible). No luck for the other guys. =P
After a while, Lucy, Ivan, Leanne + I decided to go back to the motel because... IT WAS SO FUCKING WINDY, and the fact that we were getting bored. So we went back to the motel and watched TV for a bit. It was 6ish so The Simpsons was on. Then our room made noodles and ate while watching TV...
Eventually the other guys came back and we just bummed around, going from room to room. You know what the funny thing was? Once I opened the door and Alwyn was about to knock... and then like, an hour later, I opened the door again and Kenson was about to knock. Good timing, huh? I bet they were surprised... I actually only opened the door to let some air in. lol =D
Eventually the guys except for Alwyn went to play Poker in the guys room... so me and Leanne checked it out and eventually I taught Leanne how to play Speed. IT WAS SO FUNNNN. Haha, I love playing Speed with Leanne... she got the hang of it so fast.
At 9, me and Leanne stopped playing.. so we went back to our room, where we saw Lucy and Alwyn holding hands at the front (aww =P) and we started to get ready to shower. A few minutes later, Ivan comes back in and says that Steven + Kenson are going night fishing. I'm like thinking, YAY! I'VE NEVER BEEN NIGHT FISHING BEFORE! :D
But Lucy was showering already and Leanne said she wasn't bothered. So at like 10ish, Steven, Kenson and I set off for Night fishing. I had to like, borrow Leanne's jersey because I didn't think my jacket was warm enough (I REALLY didn't wanna get a cold because it was only the first day).
We had to bring torches and stuff to see, which was only part of the fun. ^_^
There were like bats in the trees and it was sorta spooky (especially the toilets that we passed), and Steven/Kenson (one of them) commented that we should have brought a camera with a light to make a mini Blair Witch project. xP
When we finally found a spot, all we caught was seaweed. So eventually we made our way back to the car and re-baited and got these cool glowsticks for the fishing rods and set off to find another place (near the other fishing people).
Nothing interesting at night fishing, really... but then I saw these centipedes (people must've bought them to use as bait), so Steven + Kenson started to poke at them. I saw scissors, so Steven used it to cut all the centipedes into little pieces. It was pretty gross actually, but fun to watch. *ahem* =X
After fishing (and catching nothing), we walked back to the car... to find that a bird had chucked a really HUGE shit that covered the whole of one of the back doors of Kenson's car. So we drove to the petrol station and Kenson used one of those windscreen wipers at the petrol station to wipe it off. LOL, it was so hilarious. XD
I told him to use the air + water thing, but he wouldn't. I've never actually seen anyone using the air + water thing before, you see. =P
Anyway, after that... we decided we wanted to get ice cream so we bought some ice cream (Oreo ice cream) and we headed back to the motel. At the motel, we went to the guys room (where Simon was sleeping, but he didn't wake up when we walked in) and we boiled water for noodles where I scabbed off Kenson and then we ate Ice cream while Simon woke up... and couldn't get back to sleep. So Kenson decided to play both Steven in Chinese Chess and Simon in some other game, lol.
Eventually, an hour later... at 3, I went back to my room (I had to go back and forth because I couldn't open the door and I thought I had the wrong key) and finally got to bed at like, 3:30am.

A day getting lost in North Sydney.
Dear Carrots,
First off, *stabs bgc*. I'm blogging! I'm gonna bug you tomorrow about blogging. You wait! =P
So anyways... what did I do today? It's exactly as the title says. I got lost at North Sydney. Today Vivienne and I were meant to go to North Sydney TAFE so that I could hand in my late Digital Media application. Apparently Vivienne said she knew where it was, so I trusted her!
The day started when I was late (yeah I know, typical Helen) so I asked Vivienne to meet her ON the train... and apparently she doesn't know what "sticking your head out" means. So I had to run in and out of carriages at every stop just to get to where she was. And before we knew it, we were at St. Leonards station. I felt so self-conscious when I was walking up to the ticket gates... all the people there were business-y people. O_O
Anyways, after we got out of the St. Leonards station "Forum" (apparently that's what it's called, according to the sign) we walked LEFT. 20 minutes of walking later, me and Vivienne ended up at TAFE. Eventually I went to the administation office and I handed in my application... the guy looked at it and he was like, *reading* "Umm, I think you're looking for North Sydney TAFE? This is Bradfield College..." *gives me a funny look* (he was so awkward as well).
So off me and Vivienne go (we almost bolted out of there, embarassed)... and we kept walking... another 45 minutes later, we ended up at North Sydney station. I know, what the hell? I got hungry, so when Vivienne and I were going to the Plaza to buy food, we bumped into Vivienne's sister... who looked so pro with her formal wear. She took us to the bus stop and when we got on the first bus it turned out to be a fraud =O! The bus driver was nice enough to tell us it was the next stand over + what number routes the bus should be.
After that, we went to the next stand to find out the next bus comes in like, 10 minutes... so I ran back up to the Plaza to buy food (garlic bread, which would probably make my breath stink). Anyway, when I ran back up... Vivienne glared at me and told me the bus had just left... oopsy daisy! So we had to wait another 20 minutes for the next bus. When the bus came, Vivienne and I got on the bus... only to find that the bus driver was a complete bastard (which is half the reason why I never catch buses), mainly because I "forgot" my concession card..geez.
Anyway, after another 10-15 minute bus ride, Vivienne and I FINALLY got to North Sydney TAFE. Geez... it turned out to be the OTHER way when we turned at the station... *glares*
Sorry for the long boring blog entry... *points to bgc* it was his fault! I sorta got distracted because I was watching Smiling Pasta (watched 4 eps tonight) xD
I'll make a more interesting one tomorrow because I'm getting my dog!!

Another boring day at home, blogging about random shit.
Dear Carrots, How's everyone going? Well, yesterday I went to the beach with Lucy, Anna, Jane, Julie, Jessica, Pristine, Susanna, Steven and Alwyn. Emily was there, but with another bunch of her friends. And we only saw her once throughout the whole beach day. *stabs Emily* =D Well, we didn't do much... we just sat there and err, "sunbaked" which resulted in me coming home with a bit of a singlet tan (I got a tan on the strap bits =__=) and a SUNGLASSES TAN. Can you believe that? The top half of my face was white, and the bottom half was red. NO JOKE. How embarassing - I was even wearing sunglasses when I was on the train.. I bet people were staring. But now it's gone (I think it's because I put aloe vera on it). Oh, and we buried Mel (up to her feet) so she could wobble backwards... pics up later on my photobucket (ask me for it if you don't know the link =) As usual, I was late... I think it was because of my 45 min - 1hr shower. Bleh, I totally lost track of the time. I should stop taking long showers, because I'll get wrinklier earlier. Helen the wrinkly old lady. Not a good look. ^___^~ Not sure about what's on the agenda for today. I think I might just stay at home and rest my face... I need to go to TAFE to hand in my application tomorrow with Vivienne, so I don't wanna walk around with a half red/white face. Apparently I've chucked my trials results (haha), and I need it for the TAFE application so I'm screwed. I think I might have to call them tomorrow morning to ask them if i can give them my HSC results instead. =/ I like doing the "Listening to" and "Chatting to" things, so I'll do that... along with the time + date, even though it's at the top. x] P.S - I think I'll try to blog on a regular basis; remember to bug me if I don't okay? Dear Carrots,
How's it going, people? Well.. I was actually influenced/pressured by affa and Annay to make this blog. =P
So here it is. I hope my entries won't bore you guys. I like to be detailed, so I hope my detailed-ness won't bore the heck out of you peeps.
So... what did I do today? I stayed at home. Whoopdee doo, huh? Welcome back to Mel, who came back from Hong Kong today. Damn you Mel... I bet you came back with a totally different wardrobe, huh? TT_TT
I'm so bored right now... but since I promised affa that I'd have a "normal" entry up by the time he came home, I'll just blog randomly.
So what's been happening lately? I'm going to be going to TAFE to do Digital Media at the North Sydney campus, which happens to be in St. Leonards. I don't really mind TAFE though. I think it would be better for me to go to TAFE than go to a design college, then transfer to UNSW next year where I'll see affa, Karen, Lucy, Mel and a few other people. =D
I think I have to go to sleep now... it's like, 12:09AM and I'm going to the beach tomorrow. I've been craving for the beach for AGES. And now I can't even swim. Gay, huh? Well... I think there's going to be a mob tomorrow. Practically our group and like, a few of the Dimes are coming. I know I'm totally going to regret not swimming tomorrow.
Okay, I see affa's nickname "HELEN BLOG" O_O. I blogged. Happy, bgc?

P.S - I'm still trying to find a good layout. Anyone willing to make me a layout? I get bored a lot, but I'm not inspired much these days to design my own layout. Blah, I'll do some more searching for layouts tomorrow.
